We are very grateful for your support. We thank God for putting in your heart the desire to give, and we also thank each of you because you have given according to your ability, and in some cases even beyond your ability. For us it has been a great help, since through your support you have provided for our needs, and above all, because as a result I have been able to devote more time to the ministry of the Word of God. In an indirect way, you have been an example for our own local church, which has learned to follow the pattern you have given them of love for and generosity toward the work of the Lord.
We must praise God for His provision, and you are the channel through which we receive His provision. One example of the support that we have received is the library given to us for the church. It was something that our church could not afford, but it was given to us in order that our church might be nourished in sound doctrine and teaching.
The time that I now have to devote to the ministry is invaluable. In addition to our services, I visit the brothers and sisters from the church almost daily, I preach in homes every Friday, we travel to visit other churches around us that need to be strengthened, I am able to have quality time in my own personal study of the Word, and I am able to spend quality time with my wife. All of that would not be possible without your support.
Thanks be to God for allowing your eyes to be opened to the need in missions. Though we do not know you, we love you and we know that you also love us with the love of our Lord. The Scriptures are true in showing us the cooperation that there ought to be among believers. God has united us for the gospel and for the benefit of His Kingdom. I am deeply thankful in Christ.
