The effort to provide a basic pastoral library for pastors and teachers in the jungles of Peru continues. Several weeks ago, a group of about forty men from many different parts of the northeastern jungles met in the village of Chazuta for a week of pastoral training. The men that were present represent twelve different native languages and people groups. They come together every few months to Chazuta to receive biblical teaching that is provided by “Reaching and Teaching Ministries.” Over the past year, HeartCry has been given the privilege of coming alongside this ministry by providing needed literature, such as Study Bibles, concordances, and Bible dictionaries. By God’s grace, we hope to continue helping these faithful ministers of the Gospel with even more resources as they seek to proclaim the Word of God in this needy jungle region of Peru.
