Marian ministers among the Gypsies in the village of Frunzanesti, where he pastors a church that he planted several years ago. The village has two gangs that are very hostile to each other and is therefore in a constant state of fear because of the ongoing crime. Marian’s prayer is that the church will be used of the Lord to bring about unity among the Gypsies, who have lived in hate for so many years. Recently, he experienced a wonderful encounter of God’s blessing in the town of Pantelimon.
The Lord also gave us so much grace in Pantelimon. During the evangelistic outreach, we met a man named Siminica, who invited us to his place. He had been released from prison several months ago, and now we had the opportunity to talk to him and his wife. He was a “religious” man and liked to go to monasteries. He also has many icons in his home. He told us that some Evangelical Christians visited him in prison, but he did not understand much of what they were saying. The day we visited him was actually his birthday, and he said that our visit was the greatest gift he had received. Siminica and his wife surrendered their lives to God and invited us to have an evangelistic service in their courtyard. They have a large courtyard, and their house is situated in a populated place. We decided to have the evangelistic service there that night, and more than thirty adults and thirty children participated in the service. Others would not dare enter the courtyard, but they stayed outside the gate and listened to the Word of God.
