Asia is the largest and most populated continent on the earth. It contains 30% of the world's land area and 60% of the world's population. Asia's current population is 4.5 billion people (2018). It is home to the seven countries with the most unreached people groups in the world—India, Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, and Laos. The percentage of professing evangelicals in these countries range from 0.3% in Bangladesh to 7.5% in China. Though some progress has been made, the need for faithful pastors and true Gospel preachers is great. Let us “pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2).
HeartCry currently partners with missionaries in ten countries of Asia—India, Nepal, China, Indonesia, Cambodia, Japan, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, and one country that is restricted. These countries have little-to-no Biblical resources available to them, if they do not speak English. Thus, our desire is to train these men and provide the support they need as they labor to carry the Gospel to some of the least-reached areas of the world. Please pray with us as we seek to train and support more laborers in other unreached parts of Asia.
